WildyWeb: two Scousers in India

Working at Woodstock

This is mostly the residences. The academic buildings are behind the trees at the top left. Our house is further up the hill.

We moved to India in July 2002 to work at Woodstock School. Woodstock is a 150-year-old international school located in the first range of the Himalaya, at around 7,000'. It has around 470 students, boys and girls, of whom around 400 are in boarding. Teachers come from India (50%) and from the rest of the world (50%) - the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden.. I'm sure to have missed one or two. It makes for an interesting community.

Pete's job is Communications and Marketing Manager, so having spent untold hours on the school website, he's not going to repeat it all - follow the link on the left for more information. If you're interested in coming to study here for a year during High School, look at the SAGE website.

Dot has had a variety of jobs - Head of Religious Education, UK College Counsellor, Exam Officer - so she's been kept busy. From July 2012 she is Middle School Coordinator. For more about us click here.
